Back in 1961, Ronald Reagan could see plainly the dangers of socialized medicine. Here we are, forty-eight years later, and his words ring just as true. Only now, we are even closer to the precipice, the danger is even more palpable, than when he first spoke these words so articulately:

The last time he did this was when he stated that “the interior of the earth is [...] The Hoax that is ClimateGate As I have said before, just because Al Gore says the “debate is over,” doesn’t mean it’s so. In fact, scientists, real scientists, would hold that according to the Scientific Method, it is never over. That’s the whole point. I’ve discussed this before, but it is worth repeating. Science works by [...] Actually, the election victories yesterday were due not only to conservatives, but also in large part to moderates who, like their conservative counterparts, have been repulsed by Obama’s naive foreign policies and his economic disaster at home. Conservatives make up 40% of the country’s electorate and could not have pulled this off alone. Moderates make up another 40%. Liberals [...] Maybe you still swoon at the site of him. Or maybe, like Chris Matthews, you still get chills up your leg when you hear the “Great One” speak. But perhaps, what he’s been doing recently has caused you to pause. The upcoming Cap and Trade bill will impose devastating economic burdens on this country, while doing little to reduce the supposedly harmful increases in CO2.
