Here’s a couple of Glenn McCoy cartoons from last month. Interestingly, the one from November 9th, 2009 is rather relevant to the events of this past Christmas holiday:
And then there’s this one:

These are hilarious (and so very relevant today).
I think there’s one sentence that sums up the administration, “Those who can’t do, teach.” Or, in their case, work for the federal government.
By the way Al Gore is now a cliche, just another notch on embarrassing resume.
Also in the news;
Mr. Drummond (Conrad Bain) to accept Noble Peace Prize for his work with inner city youth on Diff’rent Strokes. The Committee backed up there recommendation by stating Mr. Drummonds work was no less “real” than Global Warming, and was just as effective in saving the lives of the disadvantged as Obama’s Universal Peace Intitiative. Today we listened to the Sunday programs, and of course much was on the Christmas Day bombmer. It is not yet clear how “he” was able to get on board the plane, but it’s clear that our security is not secure enough. It may mean we will have to go through body scans, but as one commentator noted (and I have to agree) those who want to commit these evils will find ways to do it. The plain fact is robbers break in to secured homes, offices, etc. and while we have more and more alarms +, it’s impossible to be available to stop everyone who wants to commit these evils.
That said, John Brennan (security something or other) says he is determined, as is Obama, to fix this “broken system” (my words). As for Napolitano, I agree with the cartoon.
I don’t agree with the second cartoon. It’s e a s y to point a finger at Obama (and I’m finding many faults with his governance), but in this case you have to admit many presidents have bowed low before other “heads?” of state.
VRy super to read it
